I reviewed creators, users, audio and videos and process content according to content safety guidelines and user performance. My team adjusted those guidelines and shaped the future of who and what is trending on TikTok or being removed/demoted. During my tenure, TikTok became the most downloaded app in the world.
• Identify, curate and spotlight high-performing topics, videos and creators on a real-time basis and feature them within the app
• Review, monitor and adjust how TikTok processes videos and the evolving guidelines that inform those actions
• Create, maintain and implement security standards and performance levels for videos, users and creators
• Collaborate and coordinate with Partnerships, Marketing, and Security departments to handle videos, users, audio and comments violating TikTok’s community regulations, and ensure compliance with Bytedance’s operation standards in a timely manner.
